How Honey is Produced
Briefly, bees produce honey from nectar/pollen which they collect from different flowers thing that determines the type of honey which the bees produce.
Then, the bees take this pollen to the hives where enzymes are added to it. Once the moisture content of the honey is about 17% it is stored in a honeycomb and sealed with wax.
When the honeycomb is ready, the apiarist takes the frame of honey from the hive, removes the wax capping and places the frame in a centrifugal machine which forces the Honey out of the honeycomb. It is then filtered, heated and stirred (homogenized) and then placed in a glass or plastic containers ready for you to enjoy.
